Shropshire Quilters is a friendly, non profit making group with members from all walks of life and of various ages and abilities. The group is affiliated to the Quilters Guild and members have a common interest in patchwork, quilting and related needlecrafts.

We welcome visitors and new members to our meetings which are held on the third Tuesday of the month, at Mereside Community Centre in Shrewsbury, with the exception of December and August when we break for the holidays.

At meetings we enjoy talks and occasional demonstrations by a variety of visiting speakers, including opportunities to share and discuss work. Regular workshops are also arranged for the benefit and enjoyment of both members and visitors.​

We have a well stocked library and, at selected meetings, get the opportunity to browse the stock of visiting traders.
